Tea Ceremony Information
Japan is famous for the beauty and intricacy of its tea ceremonies. These ceremonies are choreographic rituals of preparing green tea (“Matcha”) together with traditional Japanese sweets. On Saturday, June 20th, OIST is fortunate to have Tea Master Miyahira preform a traditional ceremony on campus. At this ceremony, participants will learn not only the proper way to drink and prepare tea, but also the history and meaning of the tools used in the ceremony. Everyone is welcome to join and experience this unique aspect of Japanese culture.

Place: Village Center Meeting Room
Price: Adults: 1,000 yen
Families with children: 1st child is free, additional children will be 500 yen each.

お茶会のご案内
裏千家教授者の方々によるお茶会がOISTにて行われます。茶席のマナーや、和菓子を楽しむ事ができます。
お茶会を通して日本（沖縄）の文化を感じてみませんか？

場所: OIST ビレッジセンターミーティングルーム
会費: 大人１０００円 子供は一家族につき１名無料。２名以上は一人５００円追加。
