OIST will have a special campus tour for kids during summer school vacation.

Joint Event OIST-Ryukyu Shimpo “Shocking Encounter with Ants”

This is a spin-off event of Ryukyu Shimpo’s column.
OIST will hold a workshop hosted by Dr. Masashi Yoshimura (Economo Unit), Coordinator of an ongoing environmental observation network project “OKEON Churamori Project”.
Participants will experience of collecting ants and observing them. Discussion with Dr. Yoshimura gives the participants the new way to see nature around us.
