OIST Online Campus Tour Group Applications for Schools
OIST is accepting school visit from elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools. We have a special program for school students.

What You Need to Know Before You Join Our Online Tour:
Contents of Online tour
This is a science experience online program that includes an introduction of our research and a livestreaming campus tour during which you can get a peek inside our laboratories. The contents of this program will be adjusted according to the grade level and number of students participating. If you have a request for a particular topic, please write it in the comment field of the application form.
Tour Program
1. Introduction of OIST: 10 min
2. Livestreaming campus tour: 15 min
3. Science activity or career educational lecture : 20 min
Total: 45 min
Maximum Number of Students
Up to 80 people per online tour for school.

From 9:00 to17:00 *JST
Starting Time
According to the school’s request (upon confirmation by OIST)
Application Deadline
Your application must be received a minimum of one month prior to the visitation date. Applications made more than one month in advance are greatly appreciated.
What we require from you
1．Online environment settings
This program uses ZOOM or Microsoft Teams. Please install the software on your PC, tablet, etc., and check the Internet environment before applying. If you would like to use other software, please contact us.
2．Items you will need to provide
Depending on the content of the program, we may ask you to prepare craft material such as colored pencils, glue, and scissors. We may also ask you to print worksheets or other program materials at your own expense.
