Hello, I am a post-doc scholar in Optical Neuroimaging Unit. I studied biotechnology and biochemistry at the university in Japan. After several years of working experience, I went to France to do my PhD project. Now I am working on neuroscience. I would like to share my experience, studying abroad and working as a young researcher at OIST.

Hi everyone! I am a PhD student at OIST working with Professor Yabing Qi in the Energy Materials and Surface Science Unit. I come from the U.S., where I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in Chemistry and Japanese language. I am interested in alternative energy in general, with my research focusing on solar energy materials. I hope to share my experience of what student life is like at OIST! In my free time I like to train capoeira and drink craft beer. I look forward to meeting everyone!
