This webinar is for anyone at OIST who wants to improve their messaging and presentation skills when they talk to non-scientists, particularly the investment community (ex. Potential donors, partners, venture capitalists), in a short, effective, and powerful manner. English only.

About the Instructor
Scott Morgan has been teaching communication skills for over 30 years. His clients include the majority of institutes at the National Institutes of Health, Mount Sinai, the Mayo Clinic, NASA, EPA, City of Hope Cancer Center, and dozens of universities: Harvard Medical School, UC Berkeley, UNC Chapel Hill, Cornell, Maryland, Ohio State, Minnesota, Duke, Nebraska, NC State, NYU, and the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. Corporate clients include Infosys, International Paper, Merck, Celgene, Mandiant, Tanium, Fidelis Cybersecurity, Tesaro and Northrop Grumman. With 30 years of broadcast experience, Scott teaches media and communication strategy to many think tanks and research organizations around the globe with clients from Central Asia, Japan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and South Africa. Scott is a Senior Associate at the Leadership Academy of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis, and holds a master’s degree in psychology from Columbia University. He authored the book Speaking about Science published by Cambridge University Press (2006) and launched a mindfulness app called 3rdi in 2014.
