明けましておめでとう!!
Happy New Year and welcome back to the OIST School-Aged Program! We hope you had a refreshing winter break, and we are happy to begin welcoming you and all of your children back to the program.
Thank you again for entrusting us to care for your children in our safe and loving environment. We are looking forward to another amazing year!

冬休みを有意義に過ごされたことと思います。皆様をプログラムに再びお迎えできることを嬉しく思います。
私たちの安全で愛情あふれる環境の中でお子様をお預かりできることに、改めて感謝いたします。今年も素晴らしい年になることを楽しみにしています。
Winter Holiday Program Fun
冬休みプログラム
Last month the we were happy to host our winter Holiday Program. The staff enjoyed spending time with the children, making fun winter crafts, and getting excited for the upcoming winter break. Some of the activities they did were making 2023 calendars, dexterity games, and group games. The children also had a lot of time to strecth their legs and get physical outdoors. This is something they really need after all their hard work at school everyday! Dodgeball, tag and soccer were very popular with the kids.
It was a pleasure seeing all of your children again, and we look forward to having fun again in the spring!
先月は、冬休みホリデープログラムを開催しました。スタッフ一同、子どもたちと一緒に楽しい時間を過ごし、冬のクラフトを作り、これから始まる冬休みへの期待に胸を膨らませました。2023年のカレンダーを作ったり、手先の器用さを競うゲームや、グループゲームを行いました。また、子どもたちは屋外で足を伸ばし、体を動かす時間をたくさん持ちました。毎日学校で頑張っている彼らにとって、これは本当に必要なことなのです。ドッジボール、鬼ごっこ、サッカーは大人気でした。
再び皆さんに会えることができてうれしかったです。また春にお会いできることを楽しみにしています。
Lego Programming Class
レゴプログラミングクラス
We are happy to inform you that the LEGO STEM Programming class started back up last Thursday (1/5/22). The class was extremely popular with the children and the families, so we decided to continue it. Mr. Murch was excited to start the classes back up and engage with your children once again. This months' build will be a carousel. As you can see from the pictures above, the kids were very focused on the lesson.
Please be sure to have which your group your child is in, and on which date they will have their lesson. All groups and lessons are posted on the classroom door.
1/5 (木)より、レゴSTEMプログラミング教室が再開されました。このクラスは、子どもたちやご家族に大変好評でしたので、継続することにしました。マーチ先生は、クラスを再開し、再び子どもたちと関わることを嬉しく思っています。今月のテーマは、カルーセルです。上の写真にあるように、子どもたちはとても集中して授業を受けていました。
お子様がどのグループに所属しているか、また何日にレッスンを受けるかをご確認ください。すべてのグループとレッスンは教室のドアに掲示されています。

We would just like to remind you that if your child will be absent from the SAP/bus for any reason, please be sure to share that information either in person with a staff member, or online by emailing schoolageprogram@oist.jp

January and February Holiday Program Dates
1-2月のホリデープログラム日程
Be sure to regularly check the SAP webpage for updated information on Holiday Program dates. Please remember that in order to receive services, you must sign up two business days in advance to the required services.
If you would like to order lunch and snacks, you must do so by the 20th of the month prior to the required service. Once a lunch order is made, refunds are not available. This includes, but is not limited to, if you decide to cancel a HP enrollment date, if your child will be absent, or if you or your child are sick and cannot attend as scheduled. Holiday Program space is available on a first-come first served-basis.

昼食とおやつを注文する場合は、必要なサービスの前月20日までに注文してください。昼食の注文をした後の返金はできません。これには、ホリデープログラム参加日のキャンセル、お子様の欠席、保護者またはお子様の体調不良で予定通り参加できない場合も含みますが、これに限定されるものではありません。ホリデープログラムのスペースは、先着順でご利用いただけます。
