Research Contributing to Health and Welfare Fostered by Ethical Conduct

Co-hosted by OIST and CITI Japan Project

 

1.         Purpose: This symposium is intended to provide researchers and members of the general public with an opportunity to understand importance of ethical conduct in research activities, and to promote internationally prominent education and research relating to science and technology through presentations of leading research activities. Also, taking this opportunity, we will familiarize the researchers with the program of “Standardization and Nationwide Implementation of Responsible Conduct of Research Education” (commonly called as “CITI Japan Project”) under the Program for Promoting Inter-University Collaborative Education sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and promote the nationwide service of the standardized training modules regarding Researcher’s Code of Conduct which have been developed in the project.
