I was born in Shangdong, China, in 1990, and received my Bachelor’s (2013) degrees in Applied Chemistry at the University of Shandong. Then, I joined the group of Professor Lixiang Wang at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and obtained my Ph.D degree in January, 2019. My dissertation was focused on design, synthesis, and optoelectronic properties of novel light-emitting and electron transport materials based on spirobisilafluorene building block. The study involved the pursuit of new building blocks, synthesis of function-oriented molecules, modulation of energy-level alignment and optimization of device structures. In April 2019, I joined the Organic and Carbon Nanomaterials Unit as a postdoctoral scholar. I am also a guest scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz, Germany. My current research interest focuses on the bottom-up synthesis of novel nanocarbon materials with atomically precise structures for the elucidation of their optical and electronic properties and applications for optoelectronic devices and bioimaging. Besides work, I would like to experience local culture and landscapes.
