Congratulations to Noa and Simon on their recent article published in Physical Review X, examining the formation of vortices in fluids with and without added polymers, by using in a special microfluidic device. Francesco Del Giudice et al. have been awarded a Soft Matter poster prize for their work “The μ-rheometer: an effective microfluidic platform to measure relaxation time of weakly viscoelastic polymer solutions”. The prize was received at the Annual European Rheology Conference 2017 held in Copenhagen.

Dr. Mandy Leung received JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship to make curcumin nanoparticles for nanomedicine applications! Mandy received her Ph.D in Chemistry from The University of Adelaide in Australia.
