2014 Entrepreneurial Training Program - Day 1
Learn to think from a business perspective and also work in teams to create a business plan for a new business rooted in Okinawa. The program will consist of 2 lectures on the design thinking process, 2 workshops to create prototypes for your businesses, and 1 final presentation. There will be participants from the University of Ryukyus and the Okinawa National College of Technology. Participants will also have the chance to get advice on their business plans from local business people as well as from the mentors. 講演概要
20世紀は「物理学の世紀であった」と言われる。世の中のすべての物質を構成する素粒子を研究するための装置は巨大化し、現代は地下100メートルに一周27kmのトンネルを建設し、その中で加速器を用いて実験を行うまでになった。このような実験は「巨大科学(ビッグサイエンス)」と呼ばれている。日本人研究者は国際協力を通じて素粒子研究に多大な貢献を行っている。これからの巨大科学を成功に導くには稲作民族に見られる集団行動の際の美質が鍵となる。
経歴1967年名古屋大学大学院理学研究科博士課程修了。 京都大学理学部助手を経て、1980年に京都大学基礎物理学研究所教授。 1997年から2003年の間、京都大学基礎物理学研究所長を勤め、2003年に京都大学名誉教授に任命された。2010年以降、名古屋大学素粒子宇宙起源研究機構長を務める。 2008年ノーベル物理学賞受賞
