Please connect to the software server, navigate to the 'VPN_EndPoint' folder, then open the 'VPN-for-Windows' folder.
Double click the 'CheckPointEndpointSecurity.msi' file to begin the installation process.
Once the installer opens, please click the 'Next' button and follow the instructions to complete the installation.
Press the 'Finish' buttong to complete the installation.
On the bottom right of your screen, find the lock icon representing the EndPoint software.
***If you can not find this icon, please run the EndPoint software from your start menu.
A dialog will popup stating that 'No site is configured.' Press 'Yes' to configure one.
Press the 'Next' button to begin the process.
Enter '' in the 'Server address or Name' text box and then press 'Next'.
A window will open showing the certificate for the vpn.oist.jp site. Please press the 'OK' button.
Select the 'Username and Password' authentication method, then click the 'Next' button.
Click the 'Finish' button to complete the site configuration.
You will be asked if you wish to connect. Press 'Yes' so you can test the connection.
Please enter your OIST username and password, then press the 'Connect' button.
Once you are connected, find the Endpoint VPN lock icon on the botton right of your taskbar again.
Right click it, and select 'VPN Options'
Select the 'vpn.oist.jp' item, then click the 'Properties' button.
Click on the 'Settings' tab.
Uncheck the 'Enable Always-Connect' checkbox and press the 'OK' button.
The setup and configuration of the EndPoint VPN Client is now complete.
