Description

The Skill Pills+ provides a unique opportunity for bachelor/master students in Japan to learn about research being conducted in OIST directly from active researchers. Neural Coding and Brain Computing Unit will host and teaches about their specialty this time over a weekend to selected students. All OISTers are also welcomed to join.

Eligibility

This Skill Pills+ is suitable people with an interest in physics, mathematics or programming, either undergraduate or master students. Previous experience with a programming language and calculus is preffered.

① Undergraduate and master student in STEM major, with interest in a field related to the topic of Skill Pills+
② Currently residing in Japan
③ Students must participate in the entire 3-day program

Travel Support

Airfare, accommodation, and meals during the workshop will be provided by OIST.

Number of Participants

From submitted applications, about 10-15 participants will be selected and invited to the workshop.

Application Process

Please apply online via Application Form. The result will be announced through email within a week of the application deadline and flights will be arranged by Skill Pills+ organizers.
