OIST and One Young World, a global community for young leaders are organizing a Spring Camp to foster the next generation of young leaders. Come join us in this workshop to address solutions to environmental issues!
What is One Young World?
One Young World is the world's biggest forum for next-generation leaders. One Young World is dedicated to identifying, supporting, and connecting the world's most influential next-generation leaders to work together to build and create a better world. The annual summit brings together more than 2,000 next-generation leaders from around the world to address the most pressing issues facing the world. OYWJ is the Japanese chapter of One Young World.

| Eligible participants | 3rd year junior high school and 1st-3rd year high school students in Japan (equivalent to grade 9-12) |
| Registration fee | 10,000 yen for students from schools in Okinawa ※ Accommodation and meals for 5 days, 4 nights are included ※ Travel expenses are provided for participants from Okinawa remote islands |
| Language | Japanese and English ※ Discussions will be in Japanese and final presentations will be in English |
| Application deadline | January 22nd, 2023 (Sun) ※ The selection result will be announced via email by the end of January 2023. Please check your settings to ensure that you can receive emails from @oist.jp domain. |
| Application method | Please submit a personal statement, within 200 words in English, on why you wish to participate in this workshop. |
