Dry Heat Sterilizer / Ovens
The Basic Lab Support Section will discontinue providing the common dry heat sterilizers/drying ovens from December 1, 2023.
It is to prevent safety accidents caused by careless use of it.
There have been two near-misses where plastic wares were used in a dry heat sterilizer, resulting in melted and burned plastics.
Common dry heat sterilizers/ovens will be removed on December 1.
Old devices will be discarded, and the remainder will be used for redistribution.
