Update Session 2017 English

The 2017 Update Session on Health and Safety and Special Safety Seminar will be held November 24. Updated information on regulations, rules and guidelines, and heads-up on health and safety will be presented at the session. Professor Kengo Tomita,Environmental Safety and Health Management Department, Nagoya University is invited as guest speaker for the special seminar. He will discuss on laboratory safety, featuring fire accidents in laboratory

Japanese Session: 13:00-14:00 Update Session, General and Special
                               14:00-15:00 Special Seminar
English Session: 15:30-16:30 Update Session, General and Special
                           16:30-17:30 Special Seminar
Note: Walk-in. Pre-registration is not required.

The Update Session forms most important part of safety training. The session consists of two parts – General and Special. General is mandatory for all and Special is required for wet lab members. Online training course will also be provided later, although special seminar by the guest speaker will not be included.
