Activities of Mechanical Engineering Center at KEK

Abstract:

The Mechanical Engineering Center (MEC) in the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) supports science programs at KEK by providing mechanical engineering and manufacturing expertise. The MEC conducts several R&D projects in mechanical engineering in conjunction with physics and accelerator science. I would like to introduce our facilities, support system, recent activities of R&D themes, education and technical tradition.
