The mission of the Graduate School is to provide first-class postgraduate education to the highest international standard. The Graduate School is a division of the OIST Graduate University, and is headed by the Dean, Professor Jeffery Wickens.
The Office of the Dean
The Office of the Dean assists the work of the Dean, and coordinates the work of the three sections in the Graduate School. The work of the Dean covers all aspects of the OIST Graduate School academic and ancillary programs, faculty and teaching development and management, course administration, student support before, during and after their tenure at OIST, and planning and strategy for the Graduate School.

Academic Services Section

Student Support Section
The Student Support Section is concerned with the everyday requirements for living and the health and welfare of students at OIST. Contact student support for information about any of the following matters:

Administrative Support Section
This section provides administrative support to the Graduate School, with responsibility for student records and data, reporting to external agencies, and logistical assistance with academic committees. The section also manages all Graduate School information systems and the Sakai teaching environment, inclusing user accounts, training, and content management. Contact them with queries about:
