Joint Symposium of MTSA 2015 & Teranano 2015

Date

Tuesday, June 30, 2015 (All day) to Friday, July 3, 2015 (All day)

Location

OIST Conference Center (Auditorium & Meeting Room #1)

Description

The “Joint Symposium of the 3rd International Symposium on Microwave/Terahertz Science and Application (MTSA 2015) and The 5th International Symposium on Terahertz Nanoscience (Teranano 2015)” is a joint international symposium of 3rd MTSA and 5th Teranano.

MTSA started from 2011 and is held every two years in East Asia area. The focus of the symposium covers not only terahertz (THz) science and technologies, but also practical applications. In the last two MTSA symposiums, we had about 30 oral presentations and about 50 poster presentations each year. The previous years were held in Nanjing in 2011 and in Shanghai in 2013 respectively.

Teranano is the framework to connect THz science/technologies and Nano science. Teranano will bring together young researchers and students working in the field of terahertz (THz) dynamics in nanostructures. Organized together with the 3rd International Symposium on Microwave/Terahertz Science and Application (MTSA 2015) the Teranano attendees at OIST will have the opportunity to experience not only the scientific and technological advances in THz and Nano science fields, but also to closely interact with researchers in these communities.
